Spoon Customs x Sam Dunn

Remember the bike frame I was painting a while back? Here it is!

This was one of the most full on things I’ve ever taken on, it was brilliant working with
Spoon Customs who hand built the frame at The Bicycle Academy
and Cole Coatings Workshop who applied the base paint and top lacquer coat.

30+ hours of work, all hand painted in black acrylic with smaller details drawn out with a toothpick.
We’re all so proud to finally release this into the world.

Spoon

The Spoon frame has left the studio!

Paid a visit to @colecoatingsworkshop & @seabasscycles today with
Andy 'the Spoon frame builder' Carr (who you can see checking out the detail here)
and dropped off the frame for the important top lacquer coat.

Can't wait to see it built and complete, there will be more info and full build photos soon!

5D

Sam Dunn LTD has it’s two year anniversary this month.

I knew I always wanted to work for myself
spending as much time possible drawing, making and creating art.

This is a sloppy post to say thanks to all of the people I’ve worked with so far,
you make it possible for me to reinvest in equipment like this to extend my creative avenues
and continue working my dream job.

Little Wheels

You may already know, when I’m not drawing (very rare) I’m most likely cycling.

Little Wheels is the hub for all of my bicycle related outbursts.
Founded by my northern sister from another mister, Dani Fej,
we recently joined together and have been plotting and pedaling stuff ever since.

Here’s something a little different to normal, it’ll be available on shirts soon!

I also dusted off my SLR and took some photos in
the perfect winter sunlight of my Condor Lavoro.
