Trances - The Alphament

This is the artwork for Trances first release, The Alphament.

Collection Update

I've been collecting AFI stuff since about 2005 when I first found them. This is all the stuff I have to date, minus 5/6 T Shirts, but who cares about T shirts? Plus a stack load of magazines, a small amount can be seen in the first picture, but again, why I included these i'll never know, they aren't anything special.

I'd love the other two collectible figures (Heartbat and Articia if we're gunna get specific!) to make a set and also all of their albums on 12".

Also I wouldn't say no to the Nitro years box set on any colour vinyl, Dork EP, A Fly In The Ointment, All Hallows 7", The Days of The Phoenix EP, etc etc. Most of these things exceed my spending limit.

Fear Of Falling Stuff

First T Shirt Screen Print!

Continuing on from my Screen Printing journey over the last week I finally managed to Screen Print my first shirt today!

This is just a little Christmas present for my Dads band, Fear of Falling, a North-East Pop/Rock covers band.

It was harder than I thought to get these perfect. Some have turned out better than others but all in all it was an alright first attempt.

Oh and Black paint/White T shirts just don't mix with my clumsy hands.

Also the lovely student protest marched proudly past Saint Martins today as I was high up in the print room so I stopped to snap a quick picture.

Screen Printing diary

Well I've finally learned how to Screen Print!
I produced some 2 and 3 colour things for my project and experimented with different colouring techniques to fill in the background. I have numerous versions on different papers which I will show when they all dry.

I'm going to continue practicing and working on some stuff for this Hartlepool project I'm working on at uni then hopefully start printing my own posters/shirts and stuffz! Yay!
